Chikum Microfinance Bank Limited commenced in July 2008 as a Unit Micro Finance Bank in Owerri, Imo State. In a record five years, the bank transformed to a State Micro Finance bank with outlets in various locations throughout the state. Since incorporation, the bank has taken giant strides to ensure it competes favourably in the banking sector by developing unrivaled capacity for easy access to financial services on a consistent basis.
Chikum is well poised to serve the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as well as promote Women empowerment that form the bulk of its esteemed customers with products tailored to meet their diverse needs. Furthermore, the bank carved a niche in the present banking environment by enhancing its Information Technological Platform thereby opening a whole new window of opportunities for its teeming customers.
